Great news! We’ve been nominated to participate in the Grill’d Local Matters donation programme at Grill’d St Kilda this month.

Every month, Grill’d St Kilda is donating $500 to local groups and asking their customers to decide who the money goes to.

When customers buy a burger, they will receive a token to put into one of three jars representing different groups. Whoever has the most tokens at the end of the month receives $300. The other two groups receive $100 each.

To do your bit to help the cause, spread the word and head on down to Grill’d St Kilda.

The AGM is scheduled for this coming Tuesday the 8th of November at 6:00pm. The meeting will be held upstairs in the boardroom of the St Kilda RSL on Acland Street.

Our Colts have had a fantastic year and we hope they can cap it off with a win against Bentleigh today. Under the guidance of Brett Gardner the football being played by this group has continued to improve as the year has progressed and the Club wish you guys all the best on the big stage today.

Our senior side bowed out of the premiership race and for the first time in a number of years we will not be playing in a grand final. The boys put in a great effort and nobody can doubt the commitment of the players throughout the entire season. There is a fantastic mix of youth and experience in the side and if we stick together I’m sure we can achieve great things in the future.

It has been a huge year for our Club and one that all our followers should be proud of. Although we haven’t had the on-field success of recent years the foundations have been set this year which will ensure our next push for a premiership will not be too far away.

To all members, sponsors, players and supporters thank for your support this year and we hope to see you all again in 2012 when City are back, bigger and better than ever.
